About me

Hello! My name is Max and I'm a freelance software developer. I'm very experienced in Minecraft modding and I also do backend work.

I started learning how to program way back in 2017 when I was 14 years old. I had a small Minecraft server back then and I wanted to learn how to create custom experiences for my players. Over time I learned a great deal about Minecraft modding and programming in general and quickly realized that I wanted to do this for a living. I graduated secondary school (GCSE) in 2019 and did some volunteering for the German Red Cross before starting my software development career.

In 2019 I landed my first job as a programmer for a small German Minecraft server called HorstBlocks. I had the task of updating the network to 1.16, which required me to rewrite almost everything from scratch. I ended up working there for over three years and wrote many of the features you see there today.

At the start of 2024 I joined Hypixel as a SkyBlock developer. You can check out my work here.
